Merry Christmas Everybody!   I wondered what Christmas morning at the Steinbrenner house would be like this year - what with all the spending going on - and envisioned Hank and Hal as boys opening their presents of Sabathia, Burnett, and Teixeira action figures.  I imagine the boys will go off and place them on the mound  and first base in their giant Yankee Stadium playset (also life-size), Ha Ha!

 

The original idea called for having Hank say “I got Sabathia!” and Hal say “I got Burnett!” and the “Thanks Dad!” coming from both of them, but I opted to add the names on the boxes.  My alternate idea was to actually have the free-agents life size and gift wrapped and the brothers Steinbrenner unwrapping them.  Since I never throw any ideas totally out, maybe I’ll save that for next year.
