As the Yankees continue to convert the best eighth and ninth inning team in baseball of Joba Chamberlain and Mariano Rivera into a starter and closer, respectively, the image of Joba on a medieval rack being “stretched out” came into my mind.

 

Manager Joe Girardi makes a much needed appearance, as does Yankee GM Brian Cashman, who hasn’t been seen in a while.  With Joba I had to make a choice whether I wanted to see his eyes or not, as he is simply iconic with the low cap covering much of the upper half of his face.

 

The wood grain was extremely hard to figure out how to do, but I’m really glad how it turned out.
