2008 World Series - Phanatic Floats
Well the Phillies won the Series - I confess it did not turn out the way I had hoped. I still think that the Rays would have made a better story, but alas, it was not meant to be.
Now let the hot stove speculation now officially begin!
Very true to my original idea, having the Phanatic resting with the Commissioner’s trophy sitting on his big belly, but the fourth ray was added when I was sketching the cartoon out - I wanted a reaction to what happened to his “brothers.”
