When Shockey Comes Marching In
I was actually up at Yankee Stadium when I overheard that Jeremy Shockey had been traded to the New Orleans Saints. I had already done the “You’re no Angel” thing with Giambi, and not wanting to repeat myself I thought about the uniform change.
I’m really happy with the monk’s eyes here, as it just really conveys how sweetly he’s pleading with Shockey to wear the miter and robe. I did make the blonde one a bit more unshaven, and the small disconcerted look on the eagle tattoo was a touch I added at the end.
